I dropped my car off at night after hours. My car would not start without a jump. I really didn't expect to see my car for a few days; since that had been my experience in the past with another garage. I was so pleasantly pleased that Bartel's called me the next morning; explained what was wrong and gave me the costs. They said it would be done that day. I couldnt not believe the relieve that they gave me.

Over the past several years and several vehicles I have used Bartel's for my cars' regular maintenance and unexpected problems. They have promptly and efficiently answered my questions and serviced my cars. Every member of their staff have been extremely friendly. In addition, when a car has needed just minor fixes, they have not charged for their services. I highly recommend Bartel's Auto Clinic for maintaining and servicing your cars.

Really a good place for auto repairs. Very friendly, courteous, and professional people. Their work is really good. I have been going to them for all my car repairs and maintenance for the last 5 years.

I go to Bartel's for my regular oil changes, preventative maintenance and whenever my car needs 'real' service (which luckily has been rare). There are 3 things that keep me coming back without hesitation: 1. Courteous service everything. 2. Thorough diagnosis when a problem arises with the car. 3. Repairs done on time and within the estimate (or even lower at times).I have to say that Bartel's ranks in the top 2 service shops I've had to go to for car service and repairs in the last 30 years. They are way up there!!

Bartel's has always been able to fix whatever problems my car(s) might have. I've had several foreign cars that had issues and they had no problem fixing them at a VERY reasonable cost. I would trust Bartel's with ALL of my cars!

Had to take a STAR away.This is my 2nd visit where I had to haggle over a coupon or $$-off discount deal.C'mon guys: If you're going to offer YELP deals or coupons, train your staff about them. Don't make your customers feel cheap, like we're trying to get something you've not offered us.

I've been looking for a reliable and trustworthy auto clinic for awhile. With Bartel's, I finally found an auto shop that provides both high quality car care and a personal touch to each visit. They make you feel welcome and go over the issues (or non-issues) with your car in very good detail. I was absolutely comfortable with my experience there. I was told my cabin air filter was close to needing to be replaced but that it could wait until my next visit. Most places would insist that it get done or do it without your knowledge. Not Bartel's. I'm very happy with my experience here and will continue to use them for my auto care needs. Thanks!

I love a company that is based on honesty, integrity and is a family-run business. Bartel's is that when it comes to the care of my car. I took my car out to the Oswego location and today I'm getting the rest of the technical work done on it today. To me, the prices are competitive, if you need an estimate to draw up before you "give the go-ahead", they'll do that for you. Sad to say, I lived out in Glen Ellyn, all my life, didn't know there was an Bartel's Auto Clinic up the road from me out in Carol Stream, lol. I actually just got off the phone with one of their customer relations like today, very nice and cheerful, just wanted to call me back and wish me thanks for stopping by, not a lot of places do that to thank you for your business these days, let alone give you a key-chain coupon to let you know you're appreciated. I know the same care and concern for you, the customer and car care is the same at that location, no doubt. I support these guys 100%. Be sure to be on the look, you people out in Naperville, Joliet & Plainfield; I hear they're building a new location off Rte 59. Call and ask them for your car needs and I'm sure they'll be obliged to do their best. If you care about your car, these guys are like the "second driver" because they care too.

After moving to Oswego almost 5 years ago, I was very happy to find Bartel's. Family-owned operation that provides excellent service at a reasonable price. You will not find slick sales pitches here for work that your car doesn't need. Instead, you are remembered by first name and treated with loyalty and respect. I greatly appreciate the time Adam, Dan and the rest of the staff take to explain repairs, costs and options with me. They have personally taken me into the garage and shown me what needs to be done to repair my vehicle. With two cars nearing 100,000 miles, I trust them to maintain them for another 100k. Highly recommend.
